About The Role

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Manager - Beauty to join our team in Dubai. As the Buying Manager, you will be responsible for the Robinsons stores in Dubai and KSA, effectively leading, driving and managing the team and to achieve maximum results within your ranges.

You will decide and set all goals & targets relating to merchandise, i.e. range planning and assortment, range structure, number of articles, width and depth of the range, sales targets, pricing and gross margins, number of suppliers, negotiation & trading terms, assortment planning, planogram cycle, and implementation of the promotional/seasonal strategy of the business across all territories. You will be accountable for driving revenue and margin growth within the categories assigned to the individual as well as the categories assigned to his/her direct reports, leading category management including supplier negotiations, vendor relationships, and branding income within the framework of the company’s overall procurement and customer strategy.

About You

It is essential you have 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a large multi-brand beauty retailer and have experience and knowledge of leading a successful team.

You must possess strong decision making skills, be good at networking and building relationships and have the ability to work with people at all levels in a multi-functional, deadline-driven environment. You will have excellent attention to detail, use a systematic approach to planning and prioritising activities and have a proven track record in achieving targets in a fast-moving, results-driven environment.

You must be proactive, self-motivated, career focused and have excellent leadership and people management skills and happy to travel to KSA when required.
