Finance Analyst / Branch Accountant - FAMCO - Al Futtaim - UAE 

This is a role with specific focus on steering the accounting and financial processes of Service Maintenance Contract within the Industrial Equipment business.

 

Management and Control

1. Contribute to the development of business management relationships through monthly reviews and recommendation of improvement initiatives.
2. Support business in making commercial decisions by providing financial acumen and pricing analysis for service maintenance contracts
3. Lead creation of Analytical reports and tools for Operational MIS of the Service Maintenance Contracts within the business
4. Ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance and financial processes
5. Liaise with various AF Group departments like Group Legal for SMC Contracts
6. Supervision of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables related to SMC.

Financial Reporting

1. Design and implement best practices and process improvements within the Financial Reporting, Accounting and Financial Controlling processes
2. Define key Financial performance KPIs and build measurement and governance dashboards around KPIs for SMCs
3. Evaluate Business decisions and review financial impacts
4. Review and reconciliation of BS accounts
5. Manage reporting on SMC platform for principal

  

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

1. Accounting professional qualification (CA/CPA/MBA) with proven expertise in Financial and Management accounting
2. Strong core finance technical skills, processes and systems

Minimum Experience:  

1. Experience with SAP and BPC
2. Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/MS Projects)
3. 7 to 8 years of well-rounded experience in the field of Finance & Accounting
