The Specialist, Talent Marketing and Employer Brand will be responsible for supporting American Airlines’ employment brand as a dynamic, creative and analytical marketer by focusing on channels such as the career’s site and recruitment media (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.) by delivering on content creation, referrals and candidate communications as well as events, strategic partnerships and relationship building in order to position American Airlines as an employer of choice. This position reports directly into the Team Lead, Marketing and Employer Brand.

  • You’re a data-driven storytelling aficionado. Create written and visual content for American Airlines candidate portals, such as the careers site and employer brand social channels, as well as content that team members can use to amplify the American Airlines’ brand.
  • Assist in identifying, building, and maintaining channels that directly funnel candidates through application workflows such as main career site and microsites.
  • Improve both internal and external candidate’s experience with a focus on world-class experience for all candidates involved.
  • Track, measure and analyze data insights, trends, brand content performance and effectiveness of recruitment campaigns, and create reports and presentations to better understand brand impact.
  • Support the implementation of strategies focusing on improving and protecting American Airlines’ employer reputation.
  • Ensure Talent Attraction initiative’s’ successes via effective project management as well as identifying opportunities to implement new and creative avenues.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, People Business Partners, Leadership Development, and other functions.

 

All you'll need for success


Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally within a Business, Marketing or HR focus or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in Recruitment Marketing, Employment Branding or Marketing

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recruitment / Talent marketing experience 
  • Website design or website build management 

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Comfortable and competent while working with senior leaders and working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills with record of running multiple projects 
  • Ability to manage and maintain multiple digital advertising campaigns effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, creative, and able to challenge assumptions while providing a high-quality work product
  • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, able to embrace change
  • Collaborative and comfortable in client centric environment with a commitment to excellent service quality
  • Passionate about the industry as well as the candidate experience
