Job Description:

Provide reliable fault finding and produce accurate and corrective repair to result in good productivity and satisfaction to the customer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

DIAGNOSIS:

  • Recognize fault (or additional fault) and advise Foreman for necessary action.

TEACHING / COACHING:

  • Assist / guide fellow technicians in case of complex problems.
  • Willingness to undergo further training.

 

SAFETY:

  • Implement safety precautions to ensure vehicles, equipment, power tools, work dress meet safety codes

PRODUCTIVITY:

  • Give ideas for improvement regarding tools, equipment and workshop processes / systems

QUALITY:           

  • Report accurate / completeness of information given on service order to ensure repair quality; thereby Customer Satisfaction.

TIMELY DELIVERY:

  • Ensure delivery on time through efficient work procedure.
  • Ensure parts are available prior to vehicle disassembly.
  • Thereby ensuring an important means of Customer Satisfaction.

 

WORK PROCEDURE:      

  • Ensure work is carried out according to Principle's specifications / recommendations

COMMUNICATION:

  • Clear and friendly communication with co-workers (i.e. Foreman, Master Technicians, Workshop Manager, Parts staff.  etc.

 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Trade Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile engineering.
  • Minimum Experience: 5-7 years in reputed dealership workshop
