Research Analyst – Software & New Technologies at IDC

Job Description:

Conducting primary and secondary research on the software and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Security, A.I. and Blockchain.
Authoring and publishing reports on IT market trends for Middle East, Africa and Turkey
Engaging in bi-annual update of software data for various markets in Middle East and Africa
Ensuring timely delivery of research and consulting engagements.

Job Requirements:

Education:

University degree from a well-recognized university

Relevant Experience:

3-5 years of similar experience

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

Strong understanding of Software and cloud industry and business
Strong understanding of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud, etc.
Excellent written and spoken English
Advanced writing skills
Data scientist, statistical skills
Excellent presentations skills
Excellent analytical skills
Advanced MS Office Skills (especially Excel & PPT)
Detail oriented
