About The Job

​​ ​This job is a member of the Credit Union Team within the American Airlines Credit Union. This position will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining the enterprise infrastructure and systems in American Airlines Credit Union’s two data centers (and third Co-location data center).

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • ​Oversees enterprise applications including a NetApp SAN, IBM midrange servers, print solutions (PrinterLogic and a proprietary print server), 50+ physical servers, 200+ virtual servers, Enterprise backup solutions, Microsoft AD/DNS/DHCP, Microsoft Exchange (including end-to-end mail flow through data loss protection, antivirus, and malware protection), monitoring solutions (PRTG and SolarWinds), Citrix (XenApp, Provisioning Server, EdgeSight, and Storefront), AppSense (Management Center, Environment Manager, and Application Manager), and Antivirus
  • Provides Level 3 support to Service Desk and Application Support teams Develops troubleshooting documentation for downstream support groups
  • Ability to be on-call 24/7 and flexibility for occasional overnight travel
  • Responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field, and/or 5 years of equivalent progressive experience
  • Prior Experience with enterprise software applications including at least three of the following: VMware vCenter, NetApp Storage, Microsoft Active Directory/DNS/DHCP, or Citrix XenApp
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Skilled in excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze problems objectively
  • Ability to think logically, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to be on-call 24/7 and flexibility for occasional overnight travel

  • Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such data center hardware (routers, switches, and servers)
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time while operating a computer
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
  • Must pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks
  • Must have an acceptable credit history, which will be verified

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • ​​​​​​ Experience with Cisco Systems routers/switches, SolarWinds, or PRTG
