About You

What's more, we believe that you have the following knowledge, capabilities and motivation:

Higher Secondary
-
2 to 3 years Retail experience

Advanced Computer skills (MS Office packages)

Operating systems (Navision & PTAG Plus/PC Hardware)

Knowledge of retail operations
-
Able to speak and understand English and Arabic would be an advantage
About the Role
You are responsible to make sure that PTAG Plus system is up to date and operational each day throughout the year, to support IKEA mechanical sales system. Essentially, you ensure that customers receive accurate information at Point of Sale.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
Operational
- Ensure that the PTAG plus system works in the store each day of the year.
- Educate all managers in the sales function (Showroom, Markethall, Self Serve and Restaurant) on how to handle the system and produce PTAG and other price and product support communication.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on the hardware and software and consistently orders supplies like papers, toners etc to make sure that the store will be able to produce price tags and other product related communication; in charge of keeping the system up to date with IKEA latest recommendation(s)

Ensure the production of required and needed price tags and price signs on all sales areas.
Checks and monitors price and product communications standards are in place as per IKEA recommendation (based on How to improve Price Tags and Price Signs Manual) - Keep all price marking accessories available throughout the year by keeping track of inventory and ordering required quantity from IMS Web shop
- Work with the Com – In team to ensure availability of level 2 & 3 price and product communication - (buying guides, picking list, argument sign, dot sign, buying instruction)
People Management and Development
- Conducts/Facilitates training on PTAG plus and price and product communication standards to sales co workers.
Operational
- Liaise with store Graphic Designer and Marketing department for price and product communications needed in the implementation of all commercial activities as per IKEA commercial calendar

Coordinate with Senior Sales in any price and product communication related improvements and actions plans derived from functional reviews
