This job is a member of the Credit Union Team within the American Airlines Credit Union. Responsible for providing administrative support to payments products and risk operations for American Airlines Credit Union’s credit and debit cards.
Specifically, you’ll do the following:
- Posts provisional credits to member accounts during the fraud investigation process
- Submits paperwork to facilitate chargeback recovery
- Closes dispute cases after chargeback processing
- Assists Fraud Administrators in processing cases in the fraud service event queue
- Prints, scans and mails returned checks that were deposited into ATMs
- Prepares documents for imaging in member records
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
- Ensures the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and high volume pressure with little supervision
- Ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and capacity for attention to detail
- Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish is a plus
- Ability to pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks
- Must have an acceptable credit history, which will be verified
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous banking or credit union experience
