The Functional Consultant - Microsoft will be responsible within the application delivery team for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operation. The incumbent will provide effective delivery of consultancy, through quality of implementation and delivery and experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Operation products and services. Delivery setup and solution configuration for Supply chain, HRM and Payroll.
- Consulting – covering all aspects; including implementing and supporting the delivery team, product Prototyping solution demonstrations, analysis, implementation and training of end users utilizing primarily Dynamics 365 Finance operation.
- Business and process analysis.
- Documenting FRMD, FDD, TDD, fit-gap, ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ within accurate and detailed scoping documents.
- Quality Assurance Related Documentation.
- Liaising with developers and clients – act as a point of communication.
- Assist sales and pre-sales team in responding to RFIs/RFPs.
The Functional Consultant - Microsoftwill report to the Head of Product Delivery - Digital Transformation, however, channels exists for direct communication with the General Manager - Digital Transformation & other members from the senior leadership team at weekly meetings or as and when required.
To be a successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in computer science / quantitaive fields. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification in HR/Payroll and Finance required. Certifications in other modules is desired. Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operation minimum in 2 modules specifically HRM/Payroll (Gulf Payroll) and Finance. Proven experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operation. Thorough domain knowledge in HR/Payroll and Finance with ability to map business process in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Experience across several industries like manufacturing, retail, services and trading. Experienced in Microsoft recommended project delivery models (LCS, Sure Step, Agile etc.). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Customer facing abilities highly desired. Ability to understand and comprehend customer requirements and map them in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Liaison heavily with Technical consultants to deliver custom solutions as and when defined in project scopes. Microsoft AZURE and service lifecycle understanding. Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills.
Exceptional communication skills with capability to generate trust with the customer with sheer domain and solution knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skill, negotiation, presentation and business acumen. Good Techno functional consultant with a passion to work with products and solutions.
Previous experience & ability to communicate with people of various technical backgrounds, think analytically, write and edit technical material, and relate Business processes with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 offerings. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. The Functional Consultant - Microsoft will have to demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, be customer focused and be able to handle multiple and often conflicting priorities. It is essential the incumbent should have excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style. Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment. Have the ability to look at situations from several points of view. Delegate responsibilities effectively. Excellent problem analytical skills and problem simulation. Should have a high comfort level working in a diverse environment. Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done. Manage cross-functional relationships effectively. Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication. People management skills & problem solving skills. Excellent managerial & administrative skills however at the same time hands on with day to day business operations. Detail oriented and good reporting skills. Establish clear lines of communication both internally & externally. Strong commercial expertise in driving business results.
