About The Job

This position is part of the Customer Notifications IT organization. This role will be involved in design, development and supporting the software for the TIBCO Middleware stack which includes Business Works, Business Events, EMS, Hawk and Active Spaces. 

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

• Provides the day-to-day support of all relevant TIBCO environments and the configuration and deployment tasks that support our various business processes
• Designs and plans expansion and growth of the cloud and Middleware platform, as additional lines of business migrate to the environment
• Delivers and supports containers and related container configurations in order to support on premise deployments, as well as future cloud deployments
• Able to analyze code defects and production issues in TIBCO BW and TIBCO BE
• Basic knowledge of SQL Queries and SQL development
• Develops solutions for ongoing implementation and support application and front-end environmental issues
• Follows established processes and improves current process/procedures to meet new application needs in various areas, maintain standards, monitoring, patch management and developing automation tools

About The Job (Continued)

• Drives TIBCO Platform along with High available implementation (cluster and load balancing), providing high level approach including design and capacity planning
• Partners with infrastructure team, architects, and other groups in validating installation packages, installation guides, developing build specifications, and performance tuning
• Identifies opportunities to optimize current solutions and performs technical analysis and/or provides hands on technical support, in order to troubleshoot problems related to poorly performing systems in production and other test environments
• Prepares platform status reports with operation metrics
• Fosters a culture based on high trust, accountability, and team work, including working extra hours, and/or after hours, as needed, to support production

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• ​​Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• 5 years of information technology experience in TIBCO BW (Rest/SOAP Services), TIBCO Admin, EMS, TIBCO BE
• 2 years of Linux, SQL, Stored Procedures, Groovy, Ready API, XSD design, CI/CD, DevOps, HTML, production support

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
• DevOps Experience (Ansible, Jenkins, TFS)
• Experience with TIBCO BW 6.5
• Airline Industry experience, with specialty in the area of Enterprise-scale Environment and implementing Middleware technology
• Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
