This job is a member of the Digital Analytics Implementation Team within the Marketing and Sales Division. Responsible for a key role in building out the American Airlines Digital Customer Experience marketing technology architecture, including managing the implementation and maintenance of the digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Tealium, Adobe Target and Qualtrics).
Specifically, you’ll do the following:
- Manages the implementation and maintenance of analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Tag Management System (Tealium), and Adobe Target)
- Collaborates with Digital Customer Experience Product Owners and other key stakeholders to define and implement necessary requirements in order to properly report on relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintains detailed documentation of analytics tools and measurement strategies
- Implements, audits and improves marketing pixels and tool implementations and processes
- Collaborates with our technology teams to add, update and verify implementation of analytics tracking on aa.com, mobile app, and kiosk
- Conducts quality assurance checks and data validation; identifies data collection issues and gaps; and recommends/implements fixes
- Collaborates with vendors and internal technology team to develop reporting strategies and ensure data is being collected properly and accurately
- Performs duties of Adobe Analytics administrator, including SAINT classifications, managing shared dashboards, and designing custom segments to identify trends in visitor profiles
- Reports and completes analyses of KPIs and other key metrics for the direct online channels post-release
- Collaborates with internal departments to oversee design, development, implementation, test and validation of changes to the Voice of Customer system
- Defines best practice approaches for analyzing user behavior on the online channels, configuring web analytics technology, and interpreting data
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technical Marketing or equivalent experience/training
- 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, Planning, or other analytical business field
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics, preferably in an implementation capacity
- Experience managing analytic and/or development projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Experience working as an embedded partner to product management and IT teams
- Experience with marketing technology tools including Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics, Adobe Target, Tealium, and marketing pixels
- Experience with iOS or Android Software Development Kits (SDKs)
- Experience with usability, conversion analysis, and multivariate testing
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities/projects on strict deadlines with minimal supervision/direction
- Outstanding analytical thinking abilities
- Proficient knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work effectively in a structured and detail-oriented role
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
