Responsibilities:
- Leverage cutting edge technology to solve business problems in various departments at American Airlines
- Participate in all phases of the development process from inception through transition
- Provide production support and be involved in maintenance and small enhancement work
- Use object oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects. This includes developing applications, which may interface with other systems in an environment committed to Service Oriented Architecture
- Experience in programming language such as Java, C++, and C#
- Exposure to technologies such as Spring, JSP, SQL, Oracle, Apache, WebSphere or JBoss, JMS, HTML, and JavaScript
- Familiarity in the use of Windows, Linux, or similar
- Knowledge of UML and the principles of Agile software development are desired
- Must be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
