About the Job:
We are currently looking to recruit a key position within Distributor Department of Lexus reporting to the Head of Marketing and Brand Operations.
In a very competitive UAE Luxury Market and challenging economic context, this position is absolutely key and the Planning and Operations Manager we are looking should have a solid experience to ensure the workload, interaction with stakeholders and animation of the key areas of business including sales, aftersales, finance and brand operations.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for sales, aftersales and automotive market planning
- Lead annual budget preparation, monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as mid to long term strategies
- Research and identify continual business improvement areas, focusing on standards, competitor activities, building a new customer segment and quality assurance management.
- Take an active role in business excellence, the development of policies and procedures to ensure that effective checkpoints are reviewed, lead ad hoc projects to ensure maximum efficiency at all levels of across the business to ensure quality output of service and experience standards.
- Develop regular presentation/reports showing the market and business situation to keep management informed on current, upcoming opportunities and challenges.
- Lead monthly market review meetings with management and other stakeholders and ensure action plan going forward
- Build synergy across the business, interrelated functions by ensuring collaboration to achieve common objective on all business areas including sales, aftersales, finance and brand operations
- Market insight, research and data collection on Lexus and competitors related to aftersales, sales, product, pricing, marketing (Intersect by Lexus for food and beverage) and share regular reports with Lexus management.
- Ensure proper monthly monitoring of Lexus pricing vs competition on core models, deliver key competition information and maximize financial and supply support to Lexus operation.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess a University Degree with minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive business planning and strategy development, ideally in a luxury environment. Lexus experience will be a plus to ensure quick operation implementation. You should have a solid automotive and product experience with a strong focus on data and insight based planning as this role is a key to ensure all such information is available for the department heads to make the right decisions.
In addition, the below skills ad competencies are key to this position:
- Excellent analytics skills in order to bring simplicity and high level synthesis fact and figure
- Excellent skills in excel, SAP, BIW, Fastrack to provide key business elements to ensure management decisions
- Excellent skills in PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate and interact with others stakeholders positively yet keeping the stance of department mission and objectives.
- Can do attitude will be key to support the require change in our processes.
- Open minded spirit to think differently.
- Know how to prioritize the tasks
