  • This job is a member of the Sales Agency Programs Team within the Sales Division.
  • Works on development, implementation and evaluation of private agency fare programs by coordinating with Revenue Management, Joint Business Partners, Advantage, Audit, Leisure Support Desk and Account Managers.
What you'll do
  • Manages all aspects of travel agency incentive deal creation, evaluation, delivery and execution, particularly when these programs pertain to private agency fares
  • Works in conjunction with AAdvantage, Revenue Management, Joint Business partners AADV, Leisure Support Desk and Sales Reps to design and implement industry leading remuneration programs within specified budgets
  • Evaluates and implements any tactical promotions required for performance improvement
  • Supports Sales Reps in their ongoing dealings with our Travel Agency partners in terms of contracts, data and reporting, and troubleshooting pricing
  • Works in lock-step with RM contracted pricing to ensure all filing instructions are correct
  • Works with Audits teams to ensure accurate follow-through on all agency fares
  • Manages all private agency pricing initiatives
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Three years airline pricing experience or 3 years travel agency operations experience
  • Experience in operational pricing, corporate pricing, or contracted pricing

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ATPCO and GDS expertise

  • Ability to communicate in technical pricing terms
  • Creative ability to drive toward consensus among customers that represents a "win" for all parties
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving, attention to detail and ability to understand complex, inter-related elements
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively working with people of varying backgrounds, skill levels and management levels, and of securing inter- and intra-departmental cooperation
  • Ability to concisely present summaries of problems, scope of analyses and recommended solutions – in both oral and written formats
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately under deadlines
