Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** Role Summary The Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations Manager is a subject matter expert in implementing and sustaining innovative TA technology, analytics, training, compliance, process improvement, and documentation solutions for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. As an individual contributor this role exercises considerable judgement to make decisions regarding TA operations programs and provides recommendations to enhance systems and processes to ensure a positive and seamless candidate and new hire experience. Scope & Complexity In alignment with TA leadership, this role identifies, implements, and sustains TA tools and technologies that enable effective competition for talent, efficient processes, and compliance (e.g., ATS, CRM, Digital Interview, onboarding, collaboration, etc.) with a relentless focus on continuous improvement. Key Duties - Act as a subject matter expert in implementing and sustaining Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations programs. - With minimal direction from leadership, drive process improvement within TA team to optimize and execute recruiting and onboarding programs. - Establish project plans and strategic planning templates to achieve the desired business outcomes, providing a centralized view across the TA team. - Serve as TA systems administrator and project manager for implementations and enhancements, escalating and resolving issues by collaborating with vendors, HR Technology, and IT. - Develop and deliver training and process documentation for TA systems and procedures, serve as lead trainer and point of contact, and enable learning and adoption of new technology and processes. - Develop and maintain TA analytics, including weekly operational reports and multidimensional scorecards using business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL and Tableau). - Analyze TA data and metrics, identify trends and evaluate the effectiveness of our hiring and onboarding strategies; make data driven recommendations for enhancements. - Prepare presentations using data for delivery to specific audiences, e.g., weekly TA leadership updates, monthly business updates for the full Talent Acquisition team. - Manage vendors, contracts, SLAs, roadmaps and communication to TA leaders and team members. - Support the budget, monthly invoicing and mechanics of the TA operation. - Identify and communicate procedural enhancements that assist TA staff in maintaining compliance. - Support other TA operations programs (e.g., recruitment marketing, referral programs, temp pool, etc.). Job-Specific Skills, Experience & Education Required - 4 years of experience in recruiting, recruitment operations or HRIS. - A Bachelor's degree, with a focus in business, communication, human resources, psychology or a related area or an additional two years of training/experience in lieu of degree. - Advanced recruiting systems and database experience with the ability to build and maintain a database. - Experience developing functional business requirements and translating those into a solution. - Experience with compiling, analyzing and capturing insights from data to support business decisions. - Critical thinking, discernment, and influencing skills. - Creativity in problem-solving, resourcefulness, ability to be detail-oriented, strong organizational skills. Preferred - Project management and process improvement experience. - Passion for technology, especially tools and data that enable efficiency and customer experience. - Advanced statistics, data modeling, and data visualization experience. - Exceptional collaboration skills, with a passion for teaching and driving improvement. - Ability to self-start/direct work in an unstructured environment and comfort dealing with ambiguity. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
