Treasury Analyst
Job description: As a member of Automotive Treasury team, you will be supporting the Automotive Business Units on the following:
- Reporting the Forex exposure and managing the hedge process
- Reporting & Analysing daily liquidity management & Cash flows
- Monitoring Treasury Compliance & Performance
- Reporting Trade finance exposures & analysing the Risks
- Perform Investment evaluation & decision Support
- Support business in budgets & forecasts & analyse financial models for capital structure discussions.
Supporting various treasury projects
Key Responsibilities:
Foreign Currency exposure: To support FM Treasury in assessing foreign currency exposure of business units on a continuous basis and ensuring compliance of organization’s hedge Policy.
Liquidity Management & Cash Flow Forecast:
- Reporting the daily Liquidity positions and analysing the surplus / deficit cash positions for investments to ensure optimum utilization of funds.
- Reporting the forecasted cash flows to analyse the future commitments of the business units.
Monitoring Treasury compliance & Performance:
- Monitoring & reporting the treasury KPIs against benchmark and supporting the overall treasury strategy.
- Preparation of a monthly treasury pack highlighting all treasury positions, exposures & KPIs which include reporting the Trade Finance exposures, Intercompany exposures, finance charges, current & capital account positions etc.
Financial Models & Forecasting Support:
- Supporting FM – Treasury in reviewing the financial models for enabling capital structure decisions.
- Supporting FM - Treasury in budgets and Forecasting discussions & determining working capital requirements.
Project Support: To support FM Treasury in system developments & processes to ensure high standards of Governance & controls.
Accounting Controls: To support FM in month end treasury related account closing activities & coordination with external Audit by providing relevant explanations and schedules.
Qualifications, experience & skills:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: University degree or professional qualification.
Minimum Experience: 2 to 3 years work experience within a treasury team of a large organization.
Job-Specific Skills: Analytical, process oriented, good communication skills, exposure to ERP
Behavioural Competencies: Should be able to plan and prioritize tasks, persuasive skills, Kaizen attitude, Self-motivated; and a strong team player.
