Job Title:                                           Marketing Administrator

Reports to:                                       Senior Marketing Manager

Department:                                    Retail Marketing - DFCM

Location:                                           Dubai Festival City Mall Management Offices, DFC, Dubai UAE

 

Job Purpose:

To assist and coordinate the marketing team in all aspects of marketing covering, admin, events, communication, customer service, social media and retailer coordination throughout the year – in line with the marketing objectives for the team and DFCM.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Permission/Photography Requests: Coordinating Retail Marketing permissions from suppliers/retailers and press requests – retailers/DFC marketing branding job request forms, press photography, filming permissions, permits
  • Government Permissions/DED: Facilitate and coordinate government relations/permissions for Retail Marketing promotions – DED Permits/Regulations
  • Marketing Campaigns: To assist with marketing campaigns with leading specific elements of the campaign in collaboration with AMM and SMM.
  • Website: Assist the Marketing Executive with all website updates for both DFCM and DFC on a monthly basis (Eng website)
  • Website Monitoring: Monthly monitoring reports/analysis of DFCM and DFC websites, and 4 competitors mall - DCC, MICC, DM, MOE. Monthly retail & Dubai events monitoring i.e. new retailers opening/events in Dubai/new malls opening/ tourism in Dubai updates
  • Social Media Monitoring: Assist the Digital Manager with social media community management and support.
  • Retailer Database: Collect database details of all DFCM retailers at store & head offices – for marketing electronic memos/newsletter circulation. Liaise with IT or EIT to build a database format for easy collection & distribution (in line with AFGRE policies/procedures)
  • Budget Management: Owner of Marketing Budget. Assisting the SMM on budget management including; monthly accruals, forcasting, PO approval, PO processing. Business Case and Tender management of process.
  • Competitor Report: Deliver weekly competitor report for marketing and senior management. Identify trends, major Dubai events and projects or leading initiatives. Deliver monthly redevelopment / developments in Dubai to senior team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Marketing, Retail and/or social media knowledge. Computer Literate. Knowledge of various social media terms and applications/website/database generation/events and promotions assistance. Competent to work under pressure. Creative skills

 

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years in Marketing

 

Job-Specific Skills:

Planning, organization and coordination skills / Excellent English skills, Arabic an advantage / Ability to communicate clearly and concisely / Marketing terminology/ Managing multiple priorities / Demonstrate the Al Futtaim Values of Respect, Integrity, Collaboration and Excellence.
