Automotive Technician - GR Electrical Mechanical - Al Futtaim Toyota - Various locations across UAE

 

We are actively recruiting for skilled automotive technicians eager to establish a rewarding career within our automotive busines of TOYOTA.

 

To qualify for the position, you must have:

• High school graduate & Tech. School Graduate
• 3~5 years in reputed workshop as Auto Mechanic

 

Duties:

• Carries out all services (as above)
• Carries out Level I and Level II repairs
• Carries out Level III Diagnosis and Level III repair rectification using hi-tech diagnostic and repair tools and equipment
• Collects & presents technical information for feedback to principals for product improvement

 

Purpose:

To ensure that assigned Service / Repair Jobs are executed in line with established work procedures, time standards and housekeeping standards so that overall objectives of productivity are met or exceeded

 

Context and Skills: 

• Execute the assigned repairs according to the Toyota quality standards.
• Ensure to clock in & clock off the repairs every time.
• Ensure the immediate communication of the job stoppage to the job controller.
• Ensure to sustain the TSM Kodawari standards at the work area.
• Ensure the minimum productivity 130% at the end of every month.
• Coordinate with Foreman/Team Leader or quality controller in case of additional repair estimation.
• Coordinate with the foreman or quality controller in case of diagnosis required in any vehicle.
• Ensure that all the estimates are being handed over to the foreman the verification prior to proceed to the next level.
• Ensure all the replaced warranty parts are being stored properly with the warranty tag attached with them.
• Ensure to wear the safety items while working on machines such as grinder etc. in order to ensure the safety in the workshop.

 

Additional Skills:

• Should read, understand and write English well enough to follow Toyota Training
• Should preferably be a certified Toyota pro-technician.
• Communication skills
• Driving License (GCC)
