- This job is a member of the Premium Partnerships team within the Global Marketing and Digital Organization.
- The Premium Partnerships team focuses on development and execution of strategic partnerships that enhances the customer experience and brings added value to the American brand and travel journey. This role plays a critical part in driving cross-departmental efforts across a variety of functional areas in pursuit of customer experience objectives.

- Leads the development and management of the Premium Partnerships strategy for Global Marketing.
- Identifies key partnership opportunities to enhance the customer experience, liaison with internal stakeholders and executes innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience and bring value to American in relation to partnerships.
- Leads partnership launches by developing execution plans, integrated timelines, deliverables, and objective goals
- Ensures clear communication and transparency among all relevant parties.
- Maintains/updates project plans and tracks/documents cross-departmental progress on tactical implementations and action items.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to form strong working partnerships, gain alignment, support implementation of initiatives and drive execution.
- Manage Premium Partnerships budget planning and strategic forecasting and coordinates budget with the rest of the Customer Experience Marketing team.
- Develops reporting and dashboards using Excel and Tableau.
- Prepares decision documentation and approval requests for Senior Management.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Corporate Communications in generating communication and awareness of new partnerships and services through internal and external channels.
- Assists procurement and legal to provide guidance on marketing-related requirements, scope and revenue share negotiations (as applicable).
- Ensures any recommended legal documents are tracked, signed, and filed.
- Creates awareness and educates stakeholders to ensure internal readiness for new partnership launches.
- Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/training
- 3+ years of related experience

- Experience managing budgets
- Experience creating presentations for senior leadership
- Experience working with Legal to develop contracts and general understanding of legal terms

- Excellent planning and project management skills with ability to advance and track a diversity of tasks concurrently
- Dynamic self starter
- Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills in combination with the ability to think and frame solutions strategically and creatively
- Strong attention to detail with ability to make connections across functional areas and understand dependencies and implications
- Proficient using Excel, Power Point and Tableau.
