Director – Concessions – Upcoming at Dubai Airports – UAE

Job Description:

• You will plan the strategy and delivery of the annual revenue target for concessions, lounges, pass office and cost recoveries from objective planning, stakeholder relationship management, concession contract management and renewals, new business development, tenders through to operational implementation, ongoing quality controls and continuous revenue and service improvement planning.
  • You will manage internal and external senior management level negotiations and relationships on concession revenue related objectives and plans to arrive at agreed actions.
  • Your role is to ensure that key stakeholders are fully aligned and supportive of Dubai Airports own plans, projects and delivery activities and their own activities are aligned and will uphold DA’s reputation.

Job Requirements:

Education:

• MBA would be an advantage or educated to degree level or equivalent.

Relevant Experience:

•  At least 12 years’ experience within a relevant commercial or travel retail environment.
• Broader and detailed understanding of all aspects of concession related airport activities and an understanding of other airport activities including operations, wider commercial activities, technology and support services.
• At least 8 years in a senior corporate management role developing long term corporate plans.

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:
• Customer research information and market trends understanding to implement strategy to grow revenue generation
• Developing revenue generating commercial plans including contract negotiation.
• Detailed knowledge of airport operations
• Managing cross functional teams and multiple operational projects.
