Accountant – Petty Cash and Intercompany Payable | Al Futtaim Logistics | Dubai

 

About the Job:

We are currently looking to recruit an Accountant – Petty Cash and Intercompany Payable for Al Futtaim Logistics.

 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Main petty cash, check the claim, supporting, timely submission and approval as per DOA and ensure that cash is available for day to day operation
• Check the petty cash voucher received from Freight and Transport division for operational expense and reimbursement
• Check and administrative expense as per DOA before reimbursement.
• Follow-up on open Intercompany invoices, and submit to P2P team for acceptance after necessary approval as per DOA
• Maintain the record of pending/ open ICM invoices with the reason for not accepting and get the invoices corrected where applicable
• Review the open ICM invoices and make the necessary accrual before close of the month as per monthly closing timeline after Financial Accounts Manager review
• Check the status of pending/ Open purchase order for Intercompany and coordinate with respective operation team on job completion status/ documentation for completing the GRN in the system
• Reconciliation of GRIR account on monthly basis along with Intercompany vendor account.
• Prepare the submit the Minimum Level Control as per timeline
• Update and account the monthly accrual for contract/ agreement with intercompany supplier before the month closing. Prepare and keep the track of the entry for review by Financial Account Manager.
• Coordinate with P2P for Intercompany Payable and petty cash related transaction and provide the necessary information/ document as and when required.

 

 

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor in Commerce Degree or any Internationally-Accredited Professional Accountancy Qualification. You will have strong knowledge in reconciliation, petty cash reimbursement, acceptance of intercompany payable invoices and monthly reports.  You will have with at least 4 years’ experience in Finance / Accounting and at least 2 years in Accounts Payable. You should have strong ERP knowledge, preferably SAP. Excellent time management and analytical skills are required in this role. You should also have an excellent interpersonal skill, with a strong ability to communicate to all management levels
