About You
You are a customer focused individual who is accountable for his decisions and is engaged in continuous leadership..

Education

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: 

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a Finance function
  • A  university degree in Accounting, or Finance relevant job experience from several years in finance department in a large-scale retail operation
  • Desirable to have detailed know how of the IKEA Concept in order to implement the IKEA Concept
  • Excellent mathematical and numerical & analytical skills

Minimum Experience: 3 years in a similar role.                                           

Job-Specific Skills: Excellent Arabic and English communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to plan, organize and implement.  

About the role
Role Purpose

Ensure that all business information and accounting figures are constantly monitored & accurately maintained so as to reflect a true and fair view of the company in the Business Financial & Performance Reports

KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNT ABILITIES: 

 

  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
  • Analyze current and old financial data and performance
  • Prepare reports and projections based on this analysis
  • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
  • Provide financial models and forecasting
  • Reconciling various GL accounts and prepare schedules.
  • Assist in Taxation Inspection
  • Preparing Sales reports, ensure Sales Tax accounting treatment
  • Organized data filling.
  • Assist in preparing the requirements at year end review for the external audit and internal auditors.
  • Preferable SAP Knowledge Preparing A.P & G.L Entries
  • Manage and control processing of Accounts Payable (Prepare Merchandise & Non-Merchandise Entries).
  • Reviewing suppliers aging reports, Advance payments report on a timely basis & Reconcile suppliers' balances.
