About You
You have the interest and inspired of digital development. You have the willingness and passion in transforming IKEA to be the world’s leading multichannel home furnishing retailer. You lead and act the IKEA culture and values. You are inspired by working together in fast paced and complex environments and energized by achieving success and results through people.
What’s more, we believe that you have the following knowledge, capabilities and motivation:
- Live and share the IKEA values every day
- University Degree in Marketing and/or Digital Development
- At least five years of experience in the area of digital web development and/or digital content creation & production
- Knowledge about digital technologies and applications (e.g. search, social, mobile, Ecommerce, agile development, web design)
- Relevant and up to date digital and technical backend understanding
- Experience of creating & developing Ecommerce channels
- Understanding of digital processes that can support and develop IKEA business
- Solid knowledge of Growing IKEA Together and IKEA Way of Working
- Understanding of all aspects of the IKEA multichannel customer experience in relation to relevant market and customer trends
- Diverse leadership experiences in various situations
- Experience in stakeholder and change management
- Strong teambuilding and leadership skills
- Process and organizational thinking
About the role
You will lead the IKEA digital (Web, Ecommerce and Digital) overarching plan when it comes to sales, Com&In/Visual Identity, content production and development priorities to make sure a seamless customer experience. You will manage and secure the consistency between digital channels and other customer meeting points throughout the IKEA customer experience map.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
- Lead and implement the W.E.D. plan when it comes to sales and marketing, content creation, Web/digital development to provide a seamless customer experience
- Actively use the IKEA digital touchpoints to connect commercial and inspirational content and functionality, creating an appealing user experience that will successfully convert more visitors to happy customers, independently on when, where and how the customers will buy
- Secure consistency between IKEA digital channels and other customer meeting points to strengthen the customer meeting and the IKEA brand
- Lead and coordinate the content development and implementation on all IKEA digital platforms (e.g. stability, security etc.)
- Lead and develop highly effective team of specialists
- Broaden our customer base by positioning IKEA in the hearts and minds of the many people, creating accessibility with seamless and intuitive digital experience
