About The Job

This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This role interacts with business units, technology teams, and the development team in order to design solutions and configure systems based on the functional designs.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Creates functional design documents, system reference guides, process diagrams, training materials, and process work flows
  • Designs and implements functional solutions for Payroll systems, as requested by business partners
  • Defines workaround processes and corrective actions
  • Solves complex issues that arise with system operations
  • Creates/maintains reporting metrics and procedure documentation, to ensure consistent and accurate handling of problems and ensure SLAs are achieved
  • Stay abreast of systems technology best practices and changing technologies to maintain domain expertise and make recommendations for enhancements or changes
  • Travel may be required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a Finance or Accounting emphasis or related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years of experience with SAP Payroll
  • Proficiency in payroll processes, payroll clusters, off-cycle payments, 3rd party remittance, benefits, garnishments, and/or process models
  • Experience with SAP Payroll functional application knowledge
  • Experience with US Tax models
  • Hands-on experience with PCRs and Schema
  • Enhancement Pack experience for ECC 6.0 Enh7 / Netweaver and Java, Javascript, SML, Idoc, Business Connector, and SDLC

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP Payroll
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups
  • SAP Configuration certification(s)
