About The Job

The Tech Op Training Librarian manages all printed materials used for instructor-led courses taught to students internal and external to American Airlines. The librarian is responsible for ensuring that the requests for training material are received, processed and distributed to the appropriate recipients. The librarian will distribute digital material via USBs as needed.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Manage print requests received via multiple sources
  • Efficiently Interface with department members to meet requests promptly
  • Process print material shipping via FedEx or company email as necessary
  • Provide reports for processed printing activity as assigned
  • Utilize opportunities to improve work performance
  • Assist with the posting of course plans, documents/forms, and videos on Tech Ops Training website
  • Assist with the management of the Designated Trainer database
  • Manage the printing of small-batch specialty print requests
  • Demonstrate efficient use of all necessary computer systems
  • Process completion certificates
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum typing skill of 30 wpm
  • Above average interpersonal, oral/written communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse customer base
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Ability to learn new software applications and apply knowledge
  • Ability to compose routine correspondence
  • Ability to prioritize work functions and organize effectively
  • Basic understanding of SharePoint and web page posting and functionality desired but not required.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
