Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **POSITION INFORMATION** Role Summary The Janitor is responsible for routine cleaning tasks at Alaska as a member of the maintenance team, this individual contributor role ensures a clean and well-maintained maintenance facility. Scope & Complexity The Janitor is responsible to the Supervisor of Line Maintenance for the day-to-day cleaning of facilities. Key Duties - Daily cleaning of all offices, which shall include but are not limited to: - Emptying of all waste and trash containers - Dusting all furniture, sills, and shelves, waxing as necessary - Dust moping and/or polishing floors - Cleaning windows and blinds - Cleaning and supplying lavatories and lounges - Daily cleaning of hallways, stairways, and conference rooms - Daily cleaning and servicing of rest and lounge rooms - Cleaning of hangar and shop areas - Cleaning of stores area - Maintaining compliance with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and company safety policies and procedures as well as Federal Regulations by reporting any safety hazard or potential hazard. - Including SMS in your daily work habits and remaining current in the training requirements for SMS.
