About the Role

To serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner in order to maximize guest satisfaction consistent with the business standards.

Ensures that our guests receive prompt, friendly and personalized service.

• Has complete understanding of the operation philosophy of each of our restaurant and conveys the same to our customers.
• Possesses sound knowledge of our products i.e. food and drinks. Caters to the needs of our guests by suggestively selling our food and beverage items.
• Accommodates our guests’ time constraints through timely service
•  Notifies managers of specific guests’ needs and requests.
• Provides support and assistance by greeting and seating guests
• Able to communicate and handle guest’s enquiries in an efficient and professional manner.
• Act as a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served.
• Processes guests bills in a timely manner
• Follows proper cash checkout procedures.
• Assist the management in maintaining standards by reporting any problems in the operation i.e. cleanliness of the floors, tables and service stations. Are all our guests happy?
• Maintains table standards by clearing all used plates, glassware etc. and by bussing tables as needed.
• Ensures that the restaurant is set up correctly before service
•  Ensures that the restaurant is cleaned and tidied at the end of the day
• Hands over their section before completing their shift and ensures and duties are done according to the daily assigned duties
• Keep bar and surrounding areas clean, free of debris and organized. Clean and maintain all the equipment used in the workstation.
• Ensures that all plates cleared to the kitchen are scrapped clean and pack neatly, cutlery separated and glassware placed in the appropriate glass racks
• Acts as a role model to new staff members by displaying a high level of professionalism and integrity.
•  Reports for duty as per the weekly roster and arrives 10 min before the shift begins
• Follows all business SOP’s as communicated
• Ensures their uniform is always clean and neat

 

About You

• High School Graduate
• With prior working experience in restaurant
• Good communication & presentation skills
