Exhibition Design Specialist at Hill International
Job Description:
- To oversee, coordinate and follow up on the Exhibition Management scope provided to the client by Hill International, including planning and execution of complex exhibitions
- To provide rigorous, accurate and efficient exhibition coordination and to follow up all aspects of exhibition development both Hill International and between all partners in the project including other exhibition experts from the Technical and Engineering committees, other Hill departments, main contractors (BOJV) and subcontractors, exhibition designers, showcase, mounting and other fabricators
- To coordinate and review the work of contributors and stakeholders including curators, conservators, registrars, designers, educators, interpreters, public affairs, and events staff among others
- To lead Hill International representation in all exhibition development processes, RFI and CDF responses, and exhibition and artefact installation with designers and other partners on the project
- To work with the client’s team collections management and conservation staff and Hill colleagues to supervise monitoring and tracking all objects prior to exhibition
- To work with supervising and supporting the client staff, Hill colleagues and all others during exhibition installation phases
- Communicates exhibition progress through dissemination
- Creating reports on weekly and monthly bases regarding their tasks
Job Requirements:
Education:
- University Degree in Museum Studies, Cultural Heritage, Arts Management, Archaeology or related fields
Relevant Experience:
- Previous experience of coordinating multimillion dollar cultural projects preferred
- Significant previous experience of a senior role in museum and/or archaeological projects
Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:
- Familiarity with working to strict deadlines and with a number of different stakeholders on large and complicated projects
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent command of the English Language, ability to read and speak Arabic an advantage
- Excellent communication and computer skills
