Senior Contracts Manager at Hill International

Job Description:

  • Develops a set of standard contracts for the organization.
  • Analyzes all requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that contracts are executed in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Audits existing contracts and oversees contract modifications.
  • Analyzes a contract’s risk to the business.
  • Visits client sites and meets with business partners.
  • Monitors the performance of each signed contract.
  • Ensures that business goals are accomplished by contract implementation.
  • Maintains an appropriate database for the organizations contracts and related documentation.
  • Conducts analysis of new laws, regulations and contract trends to determine potential impact on the business.
  • Ensures that contracts are in line with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Negotiates and manages all changes  to existing contracts.
  • Prepares reports on the status of contracts for management. Coordinates with the finance department to ensure correct billing.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • BSc degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other related field.

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum fifteen years of work experience in contract negotiation, administration and/or management.

Technical Knowledge/ Skills/ Training required:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required for preparing clear, concise, and grammatically correct materials for communicating information effectively to others.
  • Extensive Experience in Working with FIDIC Suites of Contracts
