About The Job

​This job is a member of the Engineering Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for Engineering Modifications or Inspection documentations through the product release cycle to ensure all associated groups established required actions for successful accomplishment. This job also reviews and evaluates data for specific organizational requirements.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • ​Monitors, tracks and facilitates all fleets projects in Maintenance Evaluation Team (MET) from stage 1 through stage 11 process
  • Manages elements within established workflow for task execution and approvals
  • Interfaces with multiple computer programs or software to manage daily work and task execution
  • Acts as SME for any questions or issues in JDC, Lotus Notes, DECS and document management tools
  • Liaisons with several other departments (Engineering, AD/ECO planning, Material/Tooling Planning, AD/CFR, Stores, Records, etc.) to address any questions or issues in the MET process
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • ​Associate’s Degree or higher, or a combination of education and experience
  • ​Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Fundamental understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) principals

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or similar field, or combination of work experience and education
  • Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of AA budgeting, policies, and procedures
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Yellow Belt or higher from an accredited issuing agency
  • Demonstrated skills in LSS skillsets
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
  • Aviation experience
