About The Job

This job is a member of the Loyalty Partnerships Team within the Marketing & Loyalty Division. This position will be responsible for the account management of American’s strategic partnership with Priceline Group.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • ​Develops annual partnership plans with key stakeholders in support of strategic initiatives
  • Performs comprehensive contract negotiations including economics and risk assessment to enrich the value proposition for our customers and the portfolio
  • Utilizes various tools and tactics to identify transactional trends and opportunities against key performance metrics
  • Works collaboratively with marketing and all marketing channel owners to optimize the partner offers and to align on the prioritization of partner messaging and value to our customers
  • Analyzes and researches industry and market trends to better deliver innovative customer facing offers
  • Develops recommendations, as well as written and/or oral presentations of those recommendations, to senior management
  • Ensures contract compliance across the organization
  • Some travel required, up to 20%
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Integrated marketing experience
  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Experience with financial analytics and strategic planning
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Proven high level of initiative, creativity, collaboration and follow-up in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across multiple departments and partner entities
  • Skills in relationship management with ability to build strategic plans
  • Skills in project management with the ability to drive large, complex initiatives requiring multiple stakeholder buy in
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Presentation skills
