This job is a member of the Loyalty Partnerships Team within the Marketing & Loyalty Division. This position will be responsible for the account management of American’s strategic partnership with Priceline Group.
Specifically, you’ll do the following:
- Develops annual partnership plans with key stakeholders in support of strategic initiatives
- Performs comprehensive contract negotiations including economics and risk assessment to enrich the value proposition for our customers and the portfolio
- Utilizes various tools and tactics to identify transactional trends and opportunities against key performance metrics
- Works collaboratively with marketing and all marketing channel owners to optimize the partner offers and to align on the prioritization of partner messaging and value to our customers
- Analyzes and researches industry and market trends to better deliver innovative customer facing offers
- Develops recommendations, as well as written and/or oral presentations of those recommendations, to senior management
- Ensures contract compliance across the organization
- Some travel required, up to 20%
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Integrated marketing experience
- Contract negotiation experience
- Experience with financial analytics and strategic planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Proven high level of initiative, creativity, collaboration and follow-up in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across multiple departments and partner entities
- Skills in relationship management with ability to build strategic plans
- Skills in project management with the ability to drive large, complex initiatives requiring multiple stakeholder buy in
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Presentation skills
