The Workforce Operations team is part of the Customer Experience Planning and Analysis organization which provides analytical support to airport operations. Our team works directly with operations leadership & various other departments to ensure the airports are provided with the passenger service and fleet service headcount required to achieve our financial and performance goals.
The Workforce Operations Analyst role is highly analytical and requires extreme attention to detail with little management review.
The ideal candidate has the following qualities:
- Can communicate effectively to all levels of the company
- Has demonstrated ability to independently complete projects/assignments from inception to full implementation
- Understands the complexities that exist in airports across the system
- Enjoys the challenges of a dynamic and fast changing environment
Specifically, you'll do the following:
- Develop and maintain airport staffing models to analyze staffing requirements and work closely with airport leaders to ensure proper staffing levels are met to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to airport workforce issues and build strategies to optimize staffing efficiencies
- Communicate with airport leadership to ensure full comprehension of planned spending
- Monitor and analyse spending trends to adjust budgets and models to meet the needs of airports
- Work closely with airport leadership to provide support and evaluate changes to staffing practices and processes
- Complete ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Aviation, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience/training
- Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office software, including Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced Excel modelling skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Highly proficient in use of Oracle Hyperion Essbase and LaborApp
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to make independent judgements and decisions while taking ownership of job responsibilities
