Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** Role Summary The Talent Acquisition Program Manager is a subject matter expert in developing and executing strategic recruitment programs that ensure Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air not only have a robust pool of talent but are providing pathways to employment. As an individual contributor, this role exercises considerable judgement to make decisions and recommendations to identify and create new, and scale and evolve, existing programs to meet recruiting and business needs, with an emphasis on increasing quality, impact, and diversity. Scope & Complexity With minimal direction from leadership, this role utilizes project management, systems thinking, and analytical expertise to support the development of strategic recruiting programs. Key Duties - Act as a subject matter expert to execute the talent attraction strategy and develop and implement programs that increase opportunities for diverse talent from internal and external sources. - Partner with community, workforce, and educational organizations to provide pathways to opportunities and employment. - Collaborate with key organizational stakeholders and Business Resource Groups to build candidate pipelines and increase opportunities for veterans, individuals with disabilities, diverse candidates, and underrepresented youth. - Make recommendations in relation to identifying new programs and areas of improvement within the talent acquisition and sourcing processes and provide solutions; i.e. lead capture, relationship management, referrals, sponsorship, contingent/temp pool programs. - Provide high quality consultation to a variety of stakeholder groups (Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Airport Operations, Business Leaders, etc.) on critical talent attraction challenges, issues and projects. Leverage a deep understanding of the trends and gaps in crucial talent pools to implement proactive pipeline development strategies. - Lead and participate in hiring and pipeline building recruiting events and activities and seeks new approaches to increase impact. - Scale sourcing methodologies and tools to meet the growing needs for passive and non-passive candidate attraction techniques. - Develop sourcing dashboard, metrics and KPIs. Track analytical data regarding all facets of sourcing effectiveness. Develop and communicate metrics and scorecards detailing the effectiveness of recruiting programs and talent attraction strategy. - Partner with HR compliance to ensure accordance with OFCCP and AAP goals and reporting obligations. - Evolve and maintain internship programs to meet the changing needs of the business, taking a leading role in the evaluation and development of additional early career learning opportunities. - Build and facilitate recruiting training to meet the needs of the recruiting team and internal customers. Job-Specific Skills, Experience & Education Required - A minimum of 4 years of human resources experience in recruiting program management, talent attraction, or related field. - A Bachelor's degree with a focus in business, communication, human resources, psychology or a related area or an additional two years of training/experience in lieu of degree. - Strong knowledge of and passion for technology and talent acquisition best practices. - Demonstrated ability with talent outreach and sourcing methodologies, technologies, tools, and techniques and proven ability to sourcing hard-to-fill, highly competitive roles. - Data analysis and insights capabilities to drive strong business decisions. - Ability to act as a brand ambassador and strong networker to create collaborative relationships and influence effectively always keeping the company and employment brand in mind. - Ability and willingness to travel at least 20% of the time. Preferred - Demonstrated project management and systems thinking skills. - Effective leadership skills with a focus on driving for qualitative and quantitative results. - Detail oriented with strong communication (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). - Experience with diversity & inclusion, employment brand, internal mobility programs, and training. - Demonstrated track record of running campus recruiting and outreach programs.
