Every day, we go beyond what's expected and reach for the remarkable, together. **YOUR ROLE** Role Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist conducts events-based sourcing and selection recruiting activities to find the best talent to deliver remarkable experiences to our guests at Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. This role cultivates top notch candidate and hiring manager relationships and experiences. Scope & Complexity As an individual contributor this role advises a single line of business and is focused on identifying, attracting, and selecting top talent to fill open positions and help create a vibrant talent pipeline. Key Duties - Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, manage the recruiting cycle including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing and selection; for a single line of business. - Build relationships with hiring leaders to effectively guide and influence talent planning and hiring strategies. - Manage multi-candidate hiring event processes including presentation, facilitation, and assessment and selection decisions. - Assess talent and present only the top slate of talent to hiring manager and guide final hiring decision. - Research and identify candidate sourcing opportunities and conduct light sourcing through various channels (Candidate Relationship Management (CRM), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and other channels). - Work in collaboration with others in Talent Acquisition to fulfill a pipeline or hiring goal. - Proactively engage with a pipeline of prospective candidates in a CRM through email campaigns and invitations. - Meet goals and deadlines within the hiring process. - Continually adapt to new technology that improves recruiting efficiency and candidate/hiring manager experience. - Uphold the brand and experience standards for candidates and hiring managers. - May share responsibility to coordinate events, schedule interviews, screen applications or resumes, conduct phone screens and conduct interviews. Job-Specific Skills, Experience & Education Required - A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication or related area; or two years of human resources, recruiting, administrative, or customer service experience in lieu of degree. - Technology savvy with a high level of proficiency with recruiting software; ATS, CRM, event management and other screening/scheduling automation software. - Ability to be collaborative with Talent Acquisition staff and accountable to shared goals. - Moderate travel may be required. Preferred - Exceptional candidate and hiring manager service skills. - Sourcing skills; CRM engagement, email campaigns, and talent community maintenance. - Event recruiting and/or high volume recruiting experience.
