IT Systems Engineer | Deira International School | Dubai

 

Job Description:

• Manage VMware HA hosts and Virtual Machines
• Configure and monitor backups using Veeam backup and SQL backups.
• Administration and maintenance of DIS data center includes IBM, Dell and UCS servers
• Administration and management of IBM and Dell storages
• Configure and manage cisco UCS server for call manager and Cisco call manager  administration
• Administration and support for Office 365, JAMF Casper Suite MDM servers, Windows server 2012 Domain Controller, DHCP, DNS, Print management solution (Paper cut), Azure AD connect servers
• Manage Windows File Server
• Load Balance Web Servers using Load Balancer
• Manage SQL Server Cluster
• Endpoint protection for all computers using Kaspersky Security Center
• Configure and manage Citrix Xendesktop VDI environment on top Atlantis solution
• Configure and manage web filter and application controls on Fortigate 1500D Firewalls
• Configure VPN for remote location and users to work remotely
• Administration of email security (Mimecast)
• Monitor servers, network and applications using  Motadata monitoring solution
• Manage Disaster recovery data center with Veeam availability suite
• Design and implement security policies and procedures for BYOD environment
• Manage Cisco and IBM switches across the campus
• Design, implement and manage aerohive cloud based Wi-Fi solution throughout campus using 190 Access points.
• Mobile Device Management using Jamf Casper Suite
• Helpdesk support to primary school and level 2 support for whole school
• Manage all new and upgrade projects, liaise with Vendor to ensure expectations are met
