About The Job

This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. The Associate Administrator will be a member of the Audio Visual Solutions team that’s responsible for the delivery of Audio Visual and Digital Signage solutions at American Airlines.  The Associate Administrator will support all aspects of audio visual service delivery including requirements gathering, integrator coordination, scheduling site surveys, site designs, and site implementations, equipment ordering, 2nd level support and issue resolution, and light equipment installations.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Oversees the efforts to setup, test, and maintain all audio visual (AV) and digital signage equipment
  • Consults with business units to design digital signage solutions that fit specific needs
  • Maintains and updates digital signage enterprise servers, file shares, databases, and applications
  • Provide technical commissioning services at client location to ensure system functionality
  • Optimization of installed audio and video systems
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with audiovisual and videoconferencing related technology
  • Provides estimates to business units for new installations using established audio-visual standards
  • Consults with business units to design advanced, custom audio-visual solutions that fit specific needs
  • Reviews audio visual integrator proposals for new installations
  • Provides best effort assistance to fulfill any audiovisual technical requirements as assigned
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, or related field or equivalent experience/training
  • Experience with Crestron Fusion and Crestron Toolbox
  • Understanding of various DSP configurations and programming
  • Thorough working knowledge of the operation and troubleshooting of AV and videoconferencing related technology
  • Experience working with Audio Visual integration companies
  • Experience with HTML 5 solutions - preferred
  • Certifications: CTS - preferred

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Airline experience
  • Crestron programming knowledge (SIMPL, SIMPL+, VTPro-e) - preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups
