- This job is part of the Workforce Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
- Responsible for technical operations workforce administration functions. Partners with Labor, People Business Partner, operational leaders and other support groups in the Technical Operations organization. In addition, this job will interact to solve workforce matters with the aforementioned groups and identified union leaders as needed.
- Supervises workforce administration activities, to ensure compliance with department and company policies
- Ensures adherence to contractual agreement(s)
- Prepares quantitative and qualitative analyses of headcount and payroll information
- Manages the move processing area (transfers, bids, awards, bumps) for represented team members, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement(s) and time constraints
- Supervises administration of necessary paperwork for transactional changes (i.e. retirement, separations, resignations, internal transfers and return to work scenarios)
- Supervises lost time initiatives (on job injury/injury on duty, Family Medical Leave Act, attendance) and provides direction for existing and new processes; coordinate analysis of lost time data
- Develops strategies for managing and deploying employee data to improve the division's ability to manage resources
- Creates, prepares and maintains reports reflecting headcount, lost time and payroll data
- Leads and develops workforce administration team members, including guidance on prioritization of daily activities for the group
- Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
- When applicable, may be required to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends
- Approximately 10% travel
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- 3 years proven experience in a leadership/managerial role
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Budget experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Strong familiarization working with labor agreements
- Significant understanding of Workbrain, AutoTA, Staff Admin and or Payroll/Attendance tracking systems
- Knowledge of the applicable workforce collective bargaining agreements, for IAM and TWU
- Knowledge of Microsoft office to include Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Broad understanding of Workbrain, AutoTA, Staff Admin payroll and other time and attendance applications
- Ability to utilize database/reporting tools to prepare reports for analysis and management review
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple assignments and shift priorities as required, within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
