- This job is a member of the Credit Union Team within the American Airlines Credit Union.
- Responsible for scoping technical requirements for assigned projects, including database requirements, connectivity and operational processes.
- Partners with the Business Technology Analysts
- Completes all technical implementation work for project/enhancement completion including system configuration, application parameter setup, workflow processes, building the database, data quality validation, report design and creation, form/document creation, queries to scope technical needs (e.g., network bandwidth requirements), developing and scheduling batch jobs/reports, user permissions, etc.
- Interfaces with Applications Development, Information Security, Testing & QA, BCP, other internal IT departments and third-party partners/vendors as need for project/product development, testing, BCP/disaster recovery planning, network connectivity, hardware specification, procurement, and installation
- Configures and loads application(s) on test and production servers
- Develops detailed technical and instructional documentation for ongoing transitional support by Service Desk and Application Support teams
- Responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, Business Systems, Computer Science, or similar related work experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Experience in the financial services industry and Credit Union’s departments, products and systems
- Experience with Episys and Jack Henry financial applications, AIX, PowerOn programming, SymXchange, API calls, SOAP, XML, Java, HTML, Visual Basic, .Net, web services, Python, C#, RPA technology (UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.), Adobe, SQL/Oracle, Microsoft, NetApp SAN, IBM hardware, VMware, Cisco networking, and Citrix
- Experience with technical writing
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
- Skilled with extensive technical skills to include software applications, database and programming fundamentals, networking technologies, hardware components, and interfaces and middleware
- Ability to demonstrate excellent planning and implementing systems projects that are delivered on-time and within budget
- Ability to work with 3rd party partners/vendors to successfully accomplish goals
- Ability to demonstrate excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking and sell the benefits of change
- Ability to demonstrate strong decision making skills and obtain results
- Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
- Must pass applicable American Airlines pre-hire compliance checks
- Must have an acceptable credit history, which will be verified
