JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure that warranty jobs are carried out as per OEMs manufacturer’s warranty policy and claims are submitted by FAMCO. To ensure that timelines are adhered in carrying out warranty job & claims are raised as per OEMs Warranty policy. To reconcile claims value with OEMs/FAMCO finance department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Specify the output required from the job. Identify not more than 7 Key Accountabilities & their performance indicators. NB-Focus on outcomes not tasks.
Description:
Warranty claim submission to be within agreed KPI's
Management of warranty debt from principals.
Produce monthly analysis report including reconciliation of outstanding warranty invoices against claims.
Monitor & follow up on service campaigns from manufacturer within guidelines.
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all franchises. Communicate to FAMCO staff.
Ensures that Warranty process is adhered by After Market team members.
Ensure all new equipment is registered on principals warranty systems.
JOB CONTEXT: Define organizational policy and other factors that have a critical impact on the job
This role is to implement and monitor the warranty jobs and raise claims as per OEM warranty policy. To administer warranty operation to optimize the recovery of the warranty expenses from OEMs.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Diploma in Automobile Engineering, suitable experience with in relevant Automotive/Machinery industry.
Minimum Experience: 5
Job-Specific Skills:
Warranty Administration, Technical and Product Knowledge of Commercial Vehicles / Industrial Machinery, Team work, Analytical Skill.
Behavioural Competencies :
Customer Service Oriented, Team working, Takes initiatives and Flexibility.
