About The Job

This job is a member of the Instructional Design Team within the People & Human Resources Division. This position will be responsible for creating, maintaining and measuring effective and engaging instructional curriculum specifically crafted to produce desired learning outcomes, improved performance and support corporate goals. This job provides the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the various training programs.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

• Maintains new to function training programs according to new policy changes and program updates
• Creates storyboards, designs and develops interactive web-based training programs 
• Produces videos and develops video scripts to align with policies and procedures
• Conducts beta and train-the-trainer sessions
• Analyzes, designs, develops, implements and evaluates training programs following department standards and guidelines while producing desired learning outcomes
• Determines course objectives and the appropriate sequence in which to address them, develops assessment items that accurately measure learning outcomes and compiles and analyzes data regarding pre/post assessments, surveys and evaluations to identify trends and development opportunities
• Conducts storyboarding, video script writing, editing and rendering videos using Camtasia and Kontiki
• Employs a variety of teaching strategies conducive to motivating learning, including examples, practice, and interactivity
• Partners with various workgroups to create a learning strategy that supports a diverse learning community
• Maintains current with instructional design and industry trends and research

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
• 1 year technical writing experience applying training methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven working experience in instructional design with performance-based training
• Master's degree in relevant field
• Experience in developing appropriate instructional curriculum that produces desired learning outcomes
• Proficient in Adobe Captivate and Articulate (Storyline/Rise) while developing and editing multi-media programs
• Experience in storyboarding, video script writing, editing and rendering videos using Camtasia and Kontiki
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning methodologies
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently ensuring that deadlines are met
• Ability to demonstrate an acute attention to detail
• Ability to employ a variety of teaching strategies conducive to motivating learning, including examples, practice and interactivity
