Taking on each day knowing we're part of something remarkable. **YOUR ROLE** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - As a working leader of the Ground Services group, the Team Captain will assume the responsibility and accountability of the team and of team members while leading, directing, motivating, evaluating and approving the work of the Ground Service Agents - The Team Captain is responsible for the success of a team's ability to achieve the mutually established goals - The Team Captain will perform outdoor Ground Service duties including baggage and cargo handling, aircraft marshaling, and aircraft deicing - The Team Captain will perform Food and Beverage leadership duties such as assigning flights for the day, scheduling, and managing agents on a week to week basis - Other duties may include clerical functions, reports, and assisting with unexpected passenger needs or complaints while on the ramp - Additionally Team Captains will ensure that each agent follows proper procedures - Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent required - Authorization to work in the U.S. required - Minimum age of 18 required - Valid driver's license with a good driving record required, defined by the following: No DUI, DWI, reckless or negligent driving within the last five years, no suspensions, terminations or revocations in the last five years, and no more than three moving violations in the last two years - Excellent active listening skills - Excellent verbal communication skills - Strong diplomacy and teamwork skills - Strong problem solving skills - Ability to consistently lift 70 pounds required - Ability to work a variety of schedules, to include weekends, nights and holidays required - Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Ability to lead, direct and motivate teams for optimum performance - Ability to perform basic mathematics - Friendly, knowledgeable and polite in all situations - Must be able to work well in a team environment and understand team objectives - Must be flexible and able to operate effectively within a team or independently - Regular and predictable attendance - Depending upon your work location, you may be required to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification **START YOUR NEW JOURNEY NOW** Submit your application by 11/10/2019 11:59pm (Pacific Time).
