  • This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.
  • Responsible for implementing and supporting innovative Multi Cloud network. This includes, but not limited to: network services design, implementation, administration and automation. As part of the Infrastructure Operations team you’ll work closely with Architecture and Product teams to implement and maintain Cloud technologies that ensure products are delivered in a secure, performant and resilient manner.
What you'll do
  • Assists with network incidents that the company may face in alignment with our response processes
  • Assesses risks arising from third-parties, vendors and partners in our ecosystem and design controls
  • Drives cloud network engineering for our enterprise IT and Business IT teams in both IaaS/ PaaS and SaaS implementations
  • Active member of Design & Build IT projects, steering cloud configurations and services towards industry-leading with your domain expertise
  • Participates in designing and managing IT strategy including both infrastructure and applications
  • Assists with projects involving cloud, operating systems, applications, and database and issues and requirements
  • Designs, implements and maintains network infrastructure in multi-region and multi-cloud environments
  • Manages cloud network services including but not limited to: firewall, WAF, IPS, CDN, proxy, load balancing, and DNS
  • Develops automation for network service deployment, configuration and update
  • Participates in design and deployment of highly available, scalable, secure and cost effective cloud solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Documents network architecture and configuration, technical operating procedures and policies

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 5 years of experience in a highly technical professional environment
  • 5 years of experience with network engineering

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • Airline Industry experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders such as engineering/operations teams, internal business units, external incident response teams, and law enforcement throughout the incident lifecycle
  • Familiar with DevOps and Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, automation and orchestration
  • Possess clear understanding of network protocols and standards and have experience with software and cloud architectures
  • Experience understanding protocols, such as, SSL/TLS, CIFS, HTTP/S, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP/S, NFS, SNMP and DNS
  • Experience in networking concepts and services, such as, VPNs, IPsec, PKI and TCP/IP
  • Familiar with high-availability (HA) and failover implementations for network infrastructure and server systems
  • Ability to work with virtualization technology
  • Experience in monitoring and auditing systems
  • Ability to estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms
