Taking on each day knowing we're part of something remarkable. **YOUR ROLE** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Administrative and technical control of maintenance and the supervision of aircraft mechanics in the overall performance of their duties - Development of leadership, preparation of work force schedules and workload analysis - Communication with leadership assuring aircraft maintenance is conducted in accordance with company and FAA regulations - Coordinate with and assist other departments when necessary to expedite completion of assigned work - Maintain work areas and premises in a safe, clean and orderly manner - Evaluate work performance of assigned mechanics and new hires as required - Ensure all paperwork is reviewed for accuracy and complete the sign-off process - Evaluate work performance of assigned mechanics and recommend training - Reporting any incidents and accidents and submit the appropriate documentation for follow-up - Ensure the safe and timely completion of aircraft maintenance assigned to them in an environment that gives rise to safety, compliance and quality - Adhere to Federal, State, Company and Manufacturer rules, regulations and instructions in regards to aircraft maintenance - Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - Hold a mechanic certificate with airframe and power plant ratings for a minimum of 5 years required - Have a minimum of 5 years of commercial airline experience or experience acceptable to the director of maintenance or operations required - Meets the recent experience requirements of 14 CFR 65.83 (i.e., six months experience in the last 24 months required - Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite required - Excellent written and verbal communication skills required - Demonstrated ability to work in coordination with other departments required - Regular and predictable attendance required - Working knowledge of the Horizon Air GPM and applicable FARs preferred - High school diploma or equivalent required - Authorization to work in the U.S required - Minimum age of 18 required **PAY** Benefits include: - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision - 401K retirement plan with 6% match - Quarterly bonuses - Up to $1,800 in bonuses per year paid out quarterly - Annual bonuses - Up to 5-10% of your annual salary paid out based on profits and goals - Generous flight privileges on Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines - Paid time off - Holiday pay **START YOUR NEW JOURNEY NOW** Submit your application by 12/18/2019 11:59pm (Pacific Time).
