Automotive Workshop Store Keeper - Toyota Al Futtaim - Al Ain

To manage the workshop store operations and exercise control on receipts, issues and storage of materials, consumables and tools.  Perform workshop administration as required in the respective branch.

 

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Diploma or Degree in : 
•    Diploma / Technical / Vocational / Automotive engineering or equivalent 
Minimum Experience:     
•    3 -5 years of experience in well reputed workshop in a similar role or equivalent
Job-Specific Skills:  
•    Computer Literate
•    Communication Skills
•    Warehousing / Parts Inventory

 

Duties:
Procure workshop consumables, tools, equipment, manuals and other materials on specific instructions from Workshop Manager or Foreman or to set stocking levels.  Involves technical understanding of need, sourcing, obtaining quotations, deciding supplier, raising LPO or LSR and related follow-up.

Receiving all indented materials, confirming its quality and quantity. Ensure to issue out materials through proper documentation. 

 

Ensure that all returnable materials issued e.g. tools, SSTs, manuals etc. are returned back to the store on time.  Non-returnable material such as paint and consumables issued is recorded for adjustment against inventory and charging to job cards.

 

Provide the necessary assistance to Workshop Manager on administrative matters e.g. attendance record, incentive calculation, time sheet control / compilation, fixed asset inventory audit, etc.

 

Ensure high standard of safety regarding the stored item to prevent fire hazard or any other accident.


Daily monitor waste stock such as oils, tyres, batteries, metal, plastic, paper etc.  Organize collection for saleable items and disposal of rubbish items.
