About the Role:

 

As a Product Trainer for Watsons you will manage all training across the Middle East and the Gulf. Your overall responsibility will be to teach students in an articulated and professional manner by delivering knowledgeable and enthusiastic training in the Watsons DNA as well as brand products, ensuring consistency within the high standards demanded.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Lead the development of Watsons ME training strategy, working with key stakeholders: General Manager, Head of Buying and the Operations Manager.

 

To deliver complete and comprehensive training to the highest standards in Watsons and branded products to all store and back office stakeholders in UAE, Middle east and Gulf.

 

Ensure training is structured as per guidelines with the knowledge to adapt, manage and maintain all training assets from Head Office to ensure best fit for ME needs. Ensure the course is both fun and educational.

 

To increase and develop awareness on the importance of thorough consultation, enabling specific home care recommendations and product upsell, supporting brand development and sales targets.

 

To be familiar with all promotional activities of the Company and support in readiness for the same.

 

Train all Beauty Consultants with product knowledge and selling behaviours to enable them to consistently achieve and exceed sales and service goals in line with published brand expectations.

 

To build relationships with Sales and Operations function and store managers, feeding back and guiding them on the individual's performance and achievements whether successful or unsuccessful completion of training.

 

Manage and direct programs focusing on sales, service, and customer experience including Mystery Shop to measure performance.

 

To be open, receptive and to contribute to the brands development and that of the Watsons training programme.

 

To present new product launches to various divisions of the Company to achieve awareness and knowledge.
 

Support Operations Manager with recruitment of Beauty Consultants in high profile locations (flagships).

 

Act a role model and senior brand ambassador with regards product knowledge, brand standards, personal grooming and sales expertise.

 

Complete & submit Training plans and recaps on time and within corporate guidelines and budgets.

Participate in regional relevant Training Conferences and Seminars.

 

About you:

 

To be a successful Senior brand ambassador for Watsons you should have minimum 3 years experience at Training Manager level with significant knowledge of the skincare and cosmetics industry.   

You have developed presentation skills across a range of training mediums and group sizes; including internal and external participants. 

You will be a expert in facilitating exceptional training seminars, ensuring maximised participant learning and understanding of content.   

Demonstrable coaching, leadership and communication skills.

Strong leader with flexibility, excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

Ability to travel across the GCC and occasionally internationally.
