Job Title:                             Security Manager

Reports to:                         General Manager – CFC Mall 

Direct Reports:                  3

Department:                      CFC Mall Offices

Location:                             Cairo Festival City, Cairo, Egypt

 

JOB PURPOSE:
The role holder will be responsible to manage security operations and outsource security service provide for CFC Mall to ensure the safeguard of property.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize, lead security outsource crew to secure CFC assets / environmental and insure business continuity
  • Comply with all governmental Acts and insure business sustainability
  • Manage and supervise security operation activities with the outsource security teams and the service providers staff.
  • Develop and enforce security standard and procedures.
  • Manage dept. Budget and control OPEX
  • Analyse and manage security performance, restricted areas, traffic control, hazardous activities and condition of security equipment.
  • Conduct investigation of all losses or violation of CFC regulations
  • Local/Municipality/Police Coordination (the current is not mentioning the municipality): to be the direct and first contact with all local and government organizations – to be responsible to get the required licenses and permissions/events or sitting areas for SL….
  • Execute and enforce Security policies and guidelines to ensure the protection of the Mall.
  • Deliver security awareness training and conduct security planning tasks to the internal team
  • Conduct security investigations, produce investigation reports in order to inform the GM of incident details and assist in the identification of appropriate solutions to identified problems.
  • Upgrade and advise for the provision and effective operation of technical equipment e.g. access control systems, CCTV, communications, etc. to ensure security measures are operational and key tools for crisis/business continuity management response contribute to a successful resolution.

 

JOB CONTEXT:

  • Experience in operations of large scale developments.
  • Experience in handling contractors and/or service providers to ensure that the city is run effectively and bridge the gap between clients and service providers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Police academy or Military academy graduate, preferable law enforcement background.
  • High knowledge of private security operation, risk assessment and investigation.
  • Physical security and/or crisis management and/or business continuity management Certified.
  • Good knowledge of safety practices.

Minimum Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience in security field.
  • 5 years’ experience in private security field.
  • Experience in handling risky operation.
  • Experience in handling violence and disturbance.
