Senior Manager – Business Process Transformation

 

Job Description: Develop and execute the automation and digitalization projects in line with Al Futtaim Finance strategy and automotive transformation program.

The key elements of the role will involve the execution of tailor-made automation, digitalization of existing processes, transformation and process improvement, new product launch projects across all channels for the business with a heightened focus on:

  • Automation and digitization of Captive Finance processes
  • Automation and digitization of Insurance processes
  • White label programs with banks
  • Improvement in productivity, revenue uplift and TAT reduction
  • Collaborative working with cross functional teams to deliver tangible values

 

Key Responsibilities:

Automation and Digitization Project Management

  • Lead and manage high impact automation and digitization (A&D) projects with heightened focus on captive finance, banking, white label programs with banks and insurance activities aligned with AFG digital roadmap to deliver mobility solutions
  • Prepare key A&D project documents (Business Case, BRD, RFC, Testing Strategy, etc.) as required for approvals and change management
  • Develop timelines including milestones, dependencies and team organization for A&D projects
  • Identify risks and work with stakeholders to address them in timely manner for the success of projects

 

Process Improvement and Change Management Projects

  • Optimize existing delivery practices, procedures, and participate in process improvement initiatives to maximize value chain
  • Drive proactive change management initiatives for business development ensuring accurate and timely communication to all stakeholders
  • Engage the sales, operations and technology teams, collaboratively working with leadership, both functionally and strategically, in setting up of goals around change initiatives to drive overall transformation

 

Solution Delivery

  • Manage investigation and implementation of tactical and strategic solutions that would contribute to the improvement, efficiency and enhancement of existing F&I activities including F&I incentive
  • Provide domain expertise and collaborate with other stakeholders to achieve common goals and deliver world class customer experience
  • Deliver multiple projects, assignments and system change requests as per agreed timelines with required quality
  • Assist in designing solution architecture and approach discussions with Group IT strategy and business needs

 

Stakeholders Management

  • Collaborate with AFF and EIT PMO, other internal and external stakeholders to execute all A&D tailormade mobility solutions for delivering tangible value
  • Organize steering committees and other stakeholder engagements to ensure full coordination and understanding on critical topics to maximize value chain through TAT improvement and waste reduction
  • Manage and foster relationships with Brands, AFG shared services, AFG after sales teams, Banking partners, Orient and UNB Takaful companies to provide world class omni-channel experiences to internal and external customers

 

Operation Excellence

  • Ensure A&D projects comply with the approved AFF project methodologies
  • All A&D projects adhere to AFF Test Strategy
  • Manage quality initiatives undertaken by the AFF
  • Drive and monitor F&I incentive audit and manage non-conformities
  • Foster a culture of identifying and solving problems (KAIZEN)
  • Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, management skills and domain expertise by using continuous learning and development tools

 

UAT and User Training

  • Plan and manage UATs in collaboration with EIT and key stakeholders as per AFF testing strategy
  • Build and lead the testing team for the rigorous testing
  • Define the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
  • Accelerate UAT execution through mobilization of cross functional teams
  • Deploy and manage the testing effort for any given engagement
  • Design and manage end user trainings and refresher on new systems/ major changes

 

Insurance Management

 

  • Coordinate with F&I team to ensure insurance processes are established and well documented
  • Support the review of product pricing and ensure pricing relevant information is handled correctly in the systems
  • Collaborate with F&I and insurance teams to support insurance campaigns
  • Investigate product related disputed cases escalated by F&I, Insurance, ministry or CRD teams and work towards their resolution in the best interest of the company

 

Education, Experience & Skills:

 

Education:

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Qualified Six Sigma black belt
  • Automation Project Specialist

Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 

  • 7+ years overall experience in strategy, automation, digitization, transformation, process improvement, and integration projects, preferably in relation to the Automotive, Banking, Consumer Finance and Insurance industries
  • 5-7 years financial services experience executing large, cross-functional, complex and process improvement projects in a matrix environment using a lean 6 sigma methodology in a multinational financial services company

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks:

  • Expert in lean 6 sigma process and tools
  • Exemplary project management, communication and organizational skills with proven completion of mid to large scale projects
  • Experience in product management in a financial services company is desirable
  • Expert knowledge and experience in automation and integration projects is essential
  • Proven ability to present technical solutions effectively to diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience and expertise in complete Automotive F&I business model is required
  • Commercial acumen, clear strategic thinking and ability to create buy-in and influence at a senior level
  • Experience in general insurance product design especially for automotive sector (both retail and commercial) would be a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills a must
  • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects
  • Able to communicate effectively through teaching and training others, while offering mentoring and help to project teams to ensure project success
