Transport Supervisor

About the Job:

We are currently looking to recruit a Transport Supervisor for Al-Futtaim Logistics in Kizad Abu Dhabi. You will ensure effective supervision of Auto Units warehouse and will execute proper planning and organisation of warehousing and distribution prompt deliveries to dealer locations in Abu Dhabi and other emirates in order to achieve customer satisfaction and business target.

Specifically, you will be responsibilities will include the following:

• Ensures proper planning & organizing of warehouse and distribution of goods at all the customer’s locations so as to meet customer needs and thus provide efficient service to clients. Controls through the SAP system while keeping the SLA and KPI in place.
• Ensures that the structural layout of warehouse is in accordance with the equipment to be used so as to achieve its maximum efficiency.
• Maintains effective coordination with internal (with in group) and external customers in order to assist them in achieving their set goals and objectives.
• Ensures proper stock maintenance and conduct of perpetual & annual stock taking as per the schedule provided by the trading companies.
• Ensures proper maintenance of coy assets and equipment and their availability for use at the right time and right place.
• Ensure preparation of monthly statement and fixed and variable workload for submission to Finance department for the preparation of monthly billing to customers.   Updates data in SAP on time to get billing accuracy.
• Maintains cordial relation with all employees by boosting employee morale and thus ensure that productivity level is maintained or increased.

 

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess a Logistics or Supply Chain Degree with 6 -7 years’ experience in large scale warehousing and distribution. You will have the ability to lead, motivate and manage operational teams and possess high level of customer service. You need to be a strong communicator in English and native languages of workforce. You must have an excellent planning, organizational skills, problem solving and has the ability of managing conflicts.
