This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. The Internet Security Infrastructure Engineering team is a highly skilled team of engineers that are experts at managing and integrating various third party Security and Networking platforms into the environment. This team, in collaboration with other teams and business stakeholders, is at the forefront of providing the security tools which enhance our security operations center, corporate security, applications and ensure world class set of managed offerings for our customers. Our managed platforms include, but are not limited to, technologies from vendors such as Proxy, SIEM, and Desktop OS.
As the subject matter expert, this position plays a critical role, and will be accountable for the success of their platforms. This team is responsible for the design, implementation, and end user support of the product.
This will need to be achieved through ongoing planning, coordination and alignment, both internally within the team, and also with partner teams such as Project Management, Software Engineering, Customer Implementation Services and Support Engineering.
- Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements
- Monitors performance and capability of systems and provides recommendations based on the current threat landscape
- Maintains centrally managed consoles and critical infrastructure that enables our teams to manage third party security technologies
- Develops and maintains automating day to day tasks with enterprise infrastructure like on premise proxy infrastructure
- Collaborates with Product Management in order to align with established roadmaps
- Collaborates with internal teams, such as Customer Implementation Services, Support Engineering, Software Engineering, IT Operations, Finance, and Procurement, to ensure efficient service delivery
- Fosters and cultivates vendor relationships and grasps vendor roadmaps and release schedules
- Works in and actively supports an Agile environment
- Researches, evaluates, and implements new technologies and product lines, in order to enhance current processes, security, and performance
- Provides innovative solutions to continue the enhancement and proficiency of our systems
- Participates in an on-call rotation for any escalations outside business hours, and top tier escalation support for Operations based teams

Experience in automating day to day tasks with enterprise infrastructure like on-premise proxy infrastructure
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of technology experience, with a focus on information security technology development, support and administration
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 5+ years of technology experience, with a focus on information security technology development, support and administration
- Strong technical background in Proxy, CASB, and other Internet protection suites
- Solid comprehension of packet analysis and demonstrated ability troubleshooting incidents using security tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and SIEM (log analysis)
- Strong technical background in authentication, syslog, network troubleshooting, application log troubleshooting, SIEM and security architecture
- Extensive experience with routing protocols and routing concepts
- Experience building and administering UNIX/Linux based security appliances and/or servers
- Knowledge of the Unix/Linux CLI system tools and applications
- Solid comprehension of packet analysis and demonstrated ability troubleshooting incidents using security tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and SIEM (log analysis)
- Working understanding of Active Directory structure (e.g. GPOs)
- Working understanding of Agile Framework
- Working understanding of PCI, PII compliance
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC or other security certifications are highly desired
- Working understanding of TCP/IP protocol suite, including subnetting and network address translation
- Familiarity with certificate verification techniques, along with an understanding of the certificate validation process and experience troubleshooting certificate issues
- Knowledge and experience in Devops/DevSecOps techniques like CI/CD
- Experience building and administering infrastructure with tools such as (Jenkins, puppet, Ansible, Chef and source control tools like GitHub/GIT
- Extensive experience automation scripting, preferably for network infrastructure systems
- Technical experience in scripting languages (Python, Powershell or Javascript)
