(USA-WA-Seattle) Line Maintenance Planner

Taking on each day knowing we're part of something remarkable. **YOUR ROLE** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure that all assigned maintenance program requirements, Airworthiness Directives, Modifications and deferred Maintenance items are effectively planned and executed in a manner that assures maximum utilization, and has the least possible impact on the flight schedule. - Run Alert report query on all Planning Elements ensuring the company is not at risk for over flying a regulatory task. - Develop and maintain Work Orders for scheduled and as needed unscheduled maintenance items as required by duty assignments. - Ensure that parts, tooling and materials are scheduled/routed to the job site to support the planned workload. - Plan maintenance work packages based on the availability of planned labor-hours ensuring minimum aircraft downtime and a balanced workload. - Maintain Parts Predraws for a minimum of 5 days prior to RON. - Reconcile the Daily Maintenance Plan as aircraft swaps occur, reassigning planned work as necessary, review the work plan with the shift manager/supervisor, and initiate and maintain communications on planned maintenance assigned to all stations (to include out-stations) in order to meet the demands of the current operation. - Coordinate special projects as required, working with Maintenance Control, Routers, Horizon MOM and Maintenance providing updates as needed. - Plan and schedule all special projects work from sources both within and outside the maintenance department. - Chair the Production Planning Workload teleconference calls with the Production staff at Portland (PDX) Base Maintenance and the Maintenance out-stations, with follow up as necessary. - Work with the Heavy Maintenance Planners and the Materials department to coordinate stagger plans for regulatory tasks that could have a negative impact on the operation. - Coordinate with Maintenance Control and/or Horizon MOM as well as Technical Services on the accomplishment of Defects and Technical Orders that may affect the daily workload. - Maintain a high level of knowledge of TRAX functions as they pertain to the Line Planning environment. - Keep open lines of communication on a constant basis with all facets of Maintenance & Engineering. - Accomplish other assignments as directed by the Supervisor of Line Maintenance Planning, Manager of Line and Heavy Maintenance Planning and/or the Director of Operational Logistics. - Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree, preferred - Valid state issued driver license and United States Passport required - 2 years of experience in airline operations, maintenance planning, or aviation management required - Line Maintenance Planning experience preferred - Knowledge of Excel, Word and Trax preferred - Knowledge of Access and Ames preferred - Has knowledge of General Procedures Manual (GPM) and other company manuals preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills required - Demonstrates ability to effectively analyze, problem solve and make decisions in the planning of line maintenance events including the unexpected and alternatives to reaching goals required - Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with maintenance personnel required - Demonstrated professional work ethic required - Has an understanding of Horizon Air Operations Specifications preferred - High school diploma or equivalent required - Minimum age of 18 required - Authorization to work in the U.S. required **START YOUR NEW JOURNEY NOW** Submit your application by 03/04/2020 11:59pm (Pacific Time).
